IMO, the hair salon isn't worth it because each hair style costs about $20! I can do it myself for free. The key to good braids is to make them tight. Hold your thumb over each section as you braid, moving your thumb down as you go.

That being said, your daughter may want the experience of watching her Molly go to the beauty parlor and have her hair done!
